On Friday, Nov. 1, Saline Cardiology, a department of Saline Memorial Hospital, welcomed a new nurse practitioner specializing in heart care.
Katelyn Warren will be treating patients alongside Dr. Jeffrey Stewart at the clinic and will be making rounds at Saline Memorial Hospital. Warren said she is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to all of her patients.
“As a provider, my number one goal is to listen to my patients and use my knowledge and experience to formulate a cardiac care plan that is specific to their needs,” Warren said. “Cardiac health is important to live life to the fullest, and I want to provide my patients with the opportunity to do so.”
Warren has worked in nursing since 2017 and earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2023. She is board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
She specializes in cardiovascular disease, preventative cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and general cardiology. Appointments are available at 501-574-7940 or SalineClinics.org.
“Katelyn makes a great addition to our team,” said Jeff Bourgeois, interim CEO of Saline Health System. “Her dedication to delivering superior patient care aligns with our culture of being ‘friends and family taking care of friend and family’, as well as our determination to continue providing award-winning, nationally accredited cardiac care.’”
